Each Amy Martin Jewellery piece is carefully handcrafted to be worn and loved for years to come. With a little mindful care and attention, your jewellery will continue to shine beautifully over time.

Everyday Wear

  • Put jewellery on last — after applying makeup, perfume, lotions, and hairspray.
  • Remove jewellery prior to activities where the metal and gemstones are likely to be scratched, dented, snagged - such as sports, gym, gardening, washing dishes, etc.
  • Avoid wearing pieces during swimming or showering, as exposure certain chemicals in treated water and personal care products can dull and even damage metals
  • When not being worn, store each piece somewhere dry, soft, and separate — ideally in a fabric pouch or lined jewellery box.

Cleaning Your Jewellery

  • Clean your jewellery with warm water & mild dish soap and scrub gently with a very soft toothbrush. Then rinse and dry. Once dry, you can gently buff solid metal pieces with a polishing cloth. Do this a few times per month.

Storage Tips

  • Store pieces individually to prevent scratches or tangling.
  • Avoid humid environments such as bathrooms, as moisture can cause tarnish.
  • For longer-term storage, keep pieces in an airtight pouch (such as a zip-lock bag) to slow oxidation.

A Note on Handmade Jewellery

Each piece is made by hand with natural materials, so subtle variations in texture or stone colour are part of what make it unique. With the right care, your jewellery will age gracefully — developing its own quiet character over time.
